Hershey |

Hershey Giant Center, attendance of 17,755 for
both shows but I only saw the evening show. It
was strange to actually watch Sunday afternoon
football once again. Took a stroll over to
Chocolateworld with my mom before the show after
picking up her ticket at will call. Lots of
people with one show ending and another starting.
I was 2nd row center and the seats in front of me
were empty, so the view of the left side of the
stage was perfect. I could see Alexa smiling at
me in the dark, her white teeth glow lol. A few
changes since Friday, especially in OCB. I heard
that Paul was in Philly yesterday so I’m not
surprised. Saw blacksantahat 5 times! Everywhere
I was, she seemed to be there. On the way to the
floor, and exiting the floor, and then she walked
by front row center 3 times (???). Her mom was
with her I think, she look loony too lol. Came
away with the setlist and a drumstick. Smiles
from Alexa, Vali and Anna, and points from Tim,
Stevie and James ( and the guy next to me asked
me if I knew all of them lol). And once again,
Tim pointed directly at me during Believe. He had
to open his eyes a bit to line me up but he honed
on me with the point. He is such a great guy when
you get to know him. Okay, I'm convinced now.
Jodi wears the shortest dress of any TSO female
performer ever. East snow is much clumpier than
west. I never noticed this before, James has a
tattoo below his throat on his upper chest. It is
about 3" x 4" and looks like a skull but I
couldn't get the complete image. No meet’n’greet,
as you may
have seen in my FB dialogue with Jodi. A radio
promo in NC tomorrow early morning, sort of
defeats the 2 days off when the first day starts
with a rushed 450 mile bus ride to talk on
morning radio. Chris said 700 miles but I’m
driving farther than the city of their next show
and I’m driving 500 miles.

NEPA |
|
Wilkes-Barre (NEPA), attendance of 7,802. First
time visit for me. Weather has been great. Very
hilly and winter driving must be a bitch here, so
mid-50’s is welcomed by me. This is the place
that water was shut off for a couple of days
during TSO years ago. Was in row 2 extreme left,
which is why only a few saw me. Jay was hanging
out there before the show. I told him how much I
enjoyed the NC songs. He said thank you and the
songs were recorded so long ago. He said Paul
wrote those songs for him after hearing his
voice. A couple may be done live on NC tour.
Caffery say me right away as he got onto the
lift. I was next to a mom and she was with her HS
age daughter. During OCB, I saw her show her mom
two texts from Caffery, “xx” and “xo wink”. How
sweet lol. Jodi picked me right out in the crowd
but the other girls missed me until I was by the
tables when they came out. Tim and Stevie pointed
to me as well. Tim pointed at me during “Believe”
even though I was way over on the side. I still
think the East stage is too empty after sitting
on one side. At times no one is near that end. I
should have a setlist Sunday. Jodi is less
intense now while singing but she is still
powerful. I asked her if I should sing
Ghostbusters while we were getting a picture
together haha. She said she was so scared when
that happened. They stayed in a notorious haunted
hotel and the four girls (Anna, Alexa, Vali and
Jodi) ended up sleeping in one bed after seeing a
man peeing, blinds going up and the TV going on
and off. Dani said she was sleeping during it
all. The other 4 room together in pairs and Dani
must have had the unhaunted room or was so tired
she didn’t care about haunting. A long line.
Talked to Colleen and Sarah for a bit. They were
dressed in rock groupie chick wear, or so it
seemed to me. I’m FB friends with Sarah for
reasons that I can’t remember (she must have
requested me). Saw Emily walk by, she was in a
daze and that is not the person to bring out of a
daze lol. Avoided blacksantahat who was in the
pajama pants and wearing the hat. Skipping Philly
but back for Hershey tomorrow night.

Grand Forks |

Attendance was 5,911. This is a football field
venue, and Al said as he looked around it that it
was the biggest building he had ever been in. He
also said that all 17 trucks were IN the building
and that was something he could rarely say. Then
soundboard was real close, around 10 rows back.
It is just like no other venue setup. It looked
like Caitlin wasn't really sure where to go at
first on the floor run because there are no side
seats to run up into. The drive up and back went
fine, and it was familiar with all the times I
went to and from while in college. Front row
center, lots of fun being up close to the action
and to see them one last time. Perfect position
to trade smiles with Jane. Mom wanted to be about
10 rows back to see the lights better but it came
up as third row center for her. She had a good
time with it. Al pulled a "Caffery", he had
eveyone stand up and clap along with M & M. It
worked well. At "home" now for a day or two, back
to StL for a day and then heading east.

Minneapolis |

Back to the Target Center in the every other year
rotation. What a relic of a building. Attendance
was 7242 matinee and 7362 evening. Lots of
available seats on eBay for the efternoon, and I
pulled up front row on TM as well. I spent enough
for the day on tickets so I stayed with row 2 for
the matinee. Tickets just aren't going except in
fires sales. Maybe it will change as Christmas
gets closer. Sat with some dear friends for the
evening show front row far right. Lots of fun.
There was the "arm guy" there at front row center
for both shows. His arms were pointing constantly
at whoever was the point of his attention on
stage. Sometimes he stood up to do the pointing.
More mic wiping - wonder what Tommy has? He was
out for the signing again though. Bart had a sani-
wipe and an aerosal can of Lysol that he sprayed
with excessively. He then sprayed his underarm as
well lol. Two fun shows, a few issues but nothing
like the power outage the last time they played
there. April saw me at both shows - I told where
I was going to be so I she hoped she would lol.
Fun line, a pic with John, hugs from the girls
and astonishment how I can drive so much. Caitlan
said she is tired from the travel and she doesn't
even have to drive. My last mng for a while, just
the show in Grand Forks. Long drives but it has
gone well with no snow to speak of. The snow and
single digit temps from the last time I was in
Minnesota linger in my memory. Made it to my home
town by 2:10 am.

Moline |
|
Moline, #13, attendance 8,017. A few thousand
empty seats… years ago Moline drew 11,000+ and
last year there were two shows that both had
about the attendance tonight. The early date
makes a difference. A few misfires here and there
but not a bad show. Al yelled “Shut up” when a
few people kept yelling stuff (mostly stupid)
during the guitar duel lol. Bart pulled out a
sani-wipe and some small spray bottle (I thought
it was a lighter at first and he was going to
burn it), sprayed it and wiped off the mike as
part of the OCB act. Then Andrew wiped off the
mike on Angel Returned. Not sure what is going
on. Bart wasn’t out and I forget to ask Andrew. I
was front row tonight in front of Jane, so she
had to turn to see me and she did numerous times.
The other girls saw me but April missed me even
though she stood right in front of me during
intros. That gave Caitlan a good laugh – she saw
me and smiled at me numerous times. But April and
I are finally Facebook friends after a week and a
half ordeal. She is so funny. Abby said that
April needed a spanking tonight lol. No mng in
Grand Forks, border closes at 11:00 and they want
to get the band across before then. It looks like
I won’t be seeing the West special guest this
year. I kind of figured that looking back at the
apparent rotation. I’m not going to force it in.
Guest isn’t even known yet either (well, somebody
knows but it hasn’t been passed on yet). I got
another pic with April and Katie; I’ll put it up
in a couple of days if it is presentable. Roddy
took it and pronounced it “framable” lol.
